D’Andra Simmons is a pioneering businesswoman, celebrated actress, and skin care expert who has spent nearly three decades transforming the beauty and wellness industries. With an unwavering vision and relentless drive, she continues to break barriers and redefine what it means to be a modern woman of influence.

 

As the founder and CEO of Hard Night Good Morning and CEO/owner of Ultimate Living International Inc., D’Andra leads two powerhouse brands that embody innovation, integrity, and impact — delivering results to devoted customers worldwide. 

 

But D’Andra’s brilliance doesn’t stop at the boardroom. She’s a multi-talented actress and producer, captivating audiences across television, film, and theater. Since 2022 alone, she’s starred in Lifetime’s My Daughter’s Deadly Roommates, the feature films My Dear (directed by Greg Ellis), Dance (by Brett Bentman of B22 Films), and the

pilot Post Oak, based on the legendary Quanah Parker. With several major commercial campaigns under her belt, D’Andra is also gearing up for four upcoming film projects and will soon light up the stage as Suzanne Sugarbaker in the iconic Designing Women revival — a role that originally belonged to Delta Burke.

 

A star of Bravo’s hit The Real Housewives of Dallas, D’Andra became a household name, admired for her authenticity, business savvy, and fierce heart. 

 

Her talents also shine in the kitchen. A passionate home cook, D’Andra shares new recipes weekly on her Simply Simmons YouTube series, and travels the country competing in and judging BBQ and culinary competitions. She’s even lent her expertise to The Food Network’s BBQ USA, hosted by Michael Symon, judging alongside other fellow celebs.

 

D’Andra Simmons is more than a name — she’s a force. A true icon in business, entertainment, and culinary arts who continues to inspire, lead, and create on a national

stage.

Early Achievements

D’Andra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs and Theater from Sweet Briar College in Virginia, and was honored as a Distinguished Alumna in 2006.

 

She attended UCLA where she received additional education in Directing, Camera Operation and Gripping on set, as well as Panavision’s Cinematographer Program to learn camera operation. She also is a graduate of the Mark Travis Director’s Track Program.

 

A former Presidential Political Appointee at the Department of Energy in Washington D.C., D’Andra is an in-demand public speaker. She’s written columns for Suburban Style magazine, Voyage Magazine, Forbes and several others, plus, co-authored, along with her mother, the comprehensive 2005 book, Natural Guide for Healthy Living. She has been a guest on the Varney & Company show airing on the FOX Business network and on the Joe Concha Radio Show plus many others.

 

In 2004, Simmons re-joined her mother's business, Ultimate Living, a nutritional supplements companyafter working for President George W. Bush at The Department of Energy under Secretary Spencer Abraham. She eventually became the CEO of the company. Simmons also launched her own skincare line, Hard Night Good Morning, in 2008.

D’Andra is a seasoned actress, director and producer. She has been performing on stage and in front of the camera since she was 5 years old. 

 

D'Andra Simmons was an official cast member on the reality television series "The Real Housewives of Dallas" (RHOD) on the BRAVO network for 4 years until the show went on hiatus in 2021. Known for her captivating presence and strong personality, D'Andra brought a unique dynamic to the show. As a native Texan and Dallasite, she embodies the city's vibrant and luxurious lifestyle.

D'Andra Simmons has showcased her passion for cooking on several platforms, whether it be in person, on television or on social media.
 

She first shared her love of cooking on “The Real Housewives of Dallas” each season either competing in competitions with her husband, or cooking for her castmates. 

 

After RHOD wrapped, she attended the Dallas College Culinary Executive Program to learn the basics of professional cooking.

D’Andra has cooked, competed and judged in BBQ Festivals and cooking competitions all over the USA, and has worked with several renown chefs as an emcee on stage and in the kitchen. She has also shared her cooking through demos at Eataly and Williams Sonoma. 

 

She shares her cooking videos on her social media pages and on her YouTube page, “Simply Simmons” in a longer format. 

 

D’Andra is also an avid gardener and bee keeper.

D'Andra Simmons is a beauty and wellness mogul with a successful career in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds.

 

She is the CEO of Ultimate Living International, a health and wellness company that sells nutritional supplements, weight loss products, and personal care items.

 

She is also the founder of Hard Night Good Morning Skin Care, a line of natural skincare products.

D’Andra is an avid philanthropist who supports many charitable organizations.

 

Her contributions include raising money for UNICEF (where she was on the Great Plains Regional Board), the Salvation Army, UT Southwestern Medical Center and the Friends of Simmons Cancer Center. D’Andra is an International Ambassador for Mercury One and The Nazarene Fund, which has taken her to Iraq and Lebanon to visit with victims freed from ISIS captivity and persecuted minorities.

 

She has also volunteered with Operation BBQ Relief and OUR, Operation Underground Railroad.
